“Priory Tales”

Priory Tales has been specially created for the Birkenhead Priory to celebrate over 800 years of its existence and will be performed at the site on the 9th and 10th April 2015.

Priory Tales explores the history of Birkenhead’s magnificent landmark as seen through the eyes of the young people involved in the project. Their creative interpretations are expressed through dance, drama, music, film and photography. Over 200 young people have been involved in creating this mixed media production inspired by the Priory’s ancient history and as it stands today.
Join us for a festival of live entertainment that will take you on a magical journey around the Priory’s remarkable architecture.
